Zip Lines and "Cruise Lines"

We took off for Cincinnati around 8am yesterday. First on our list of things to do was to visit Findlay's Market. It's a Farmers Market of sorts with a built in meat market and lots of craft stores. There was a ton of good things to eat, so we decided to enjoy an early lunch. Findlay's was not exactly located in the most luxurious of neighborhoods.

After lunch at Findlay's, we headed out for our highlight adventure... ZIP-LINING. We have never been before and after lots of persuasion to get Hillary to agree to go, we set out for a fun time. We were part of an 8 person crew with 2 guides. It was probably the most fun we've had so far! There were a total of 10 lines that we "zipped through". Some ranged from just a few hundred feet long only 50 feet in the air to a line that was over 1,400 feet that soared over 250 feet in the air! Pretty amazing and we highly recommend it for anyone who's interested.

Note: Hillary will now zip-line and sky dive, but she still is refusing to go on all the coasters at Cedar Point later on in this trip. We'll see if that changes!

After the adventure, we checked into our hotel to relax for a few short minutes before we toured downtown and went out on a riverboat cruise. We had dinner at Christian Moerlein's Brew House. Pretty cool place and fantastic food! Yes, that is a beer tap at the table.

It started pouring rain just before we went out on the cruise, but the weather gods were nice to us and allowed us to have a nice and dry cruise last night.

Next up..... Kenny Chesney in Columbus, OH
