Yes! We did make it to breakfast early. Hillary found the adrenaline from the excitement that today was Hershey's Chocolate World day. For me, it was the chance to eat at Dodge City Steakhouse for breakfast.
The restaurant was featured in Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible. Essentially the show is about a celebrity chef who goes into a poorly run (and rundown) restaurant, fixes the problems and gives the interior a face lift.

Next up: Hillary's place of excitement!
We got to Chocolate World as they opened
at 9am. We got to learn all about the history
of Milton Hershey, his company, and how
chocolate is made. Obviously, someone was
excited once we hit the gift shop!
Yes, it's basically a Sam's Club of chocolate.
Now I do have to say that I did enjoy one part
of Chocolate World, the trolly ride! For once,
Trolly Tim got to enjoy a ride on one.
Here's Mrs. Trolly Tim:
The ride was just a cut above the Dubuque Trolly tour. The narrators were actors and did
skits during the hour long ride. Just
preparing everyone at work that I will have
some new ideas for next years Trolly Tour during registration.
Haha!
We enjoyed our 3 hours in Hershey, PA and
headed for Philly next. Of course we drove
through another rainstorm on our way. We
took a tour of Old Town. It was awesome!
We got to see everything from the Liberty
Bell to Independence Hall to Ben Franklin's
grave. It was basically a walk through history
and our tour guide was unbelievably knowledgable
while I asked about 10,000 questions. Yes,
I was "that guy" on the tour!
After the tour, we headed over to see Love Park
and run the Rocky Steps. By the way, we dropped
over $30 in parking for 4 hours...wow!
out our day with the best Philly Cheesesteaks.
In South Philadelphia, there are 2 places you can go
for the very best: Geno's or Pat's. Ironically,
they are located just across the street from each
other. We bought one from each place
to decide for ourselves which is better.
